Winevault are the wine storage experts within Spare Room. Winevault provides a first-class facility for connoisseurs, collectors and investors wanting to store both small and large quantities of fine wine. The latest security technology guards our climate controlled facility which is kept at a constant temperature of 15° Celsius and a relative humidity of 75% - the optimum conditions for storing wine.

Winevault also offers climate controlled bulk storage facilities three stories underground for bottle shops, wine distributors, wineries and wine clubs who need a distribution base or storage space for extra stock. Drive-up access will make it easy to retrieve wine stored in this area, an essential consideration for the wine trade.

A remnant of the days when brick and tile quarries were the backbone of the local economy, The Tunnel had been excavated in 1910 to join two properties belonging to the North Sydney Brick and Tile Company. It remained in use until 1965, after which
it was quickly forgotten.

Now The Tunnel has been restored to bring a truly unique experience to wine enthusiasts. It has become an integral part of Winevault’s new headquarters, operating as a fully functional wine storage facility and wine tasting venue.

With an authentic cellar ambience, The Tunnel can be booked for wine tasting with up to 18 guests and is available to Winevault customers. All the necessary equipment is on hand, and we can even organize a cheese platter or two.
